Stealth Research Scientist Sam Dittmer, Research Software Engineer Kimberlee Model, and CEO Steve Lu, in collaboration with Joseph Near (University of Vermont), published “ZK-JPEG: Zero-knowledge Image Editing and Compression” at the 15th International Conference on Security and Cryptography for Networks (SCN 2026) in Amalfi, Italy. The paper introduces a tool that uses zero-knowledge proofs to verify image editing and JPEG compression without revealing the original image.
