Rafail Ostrovsky is a Professor of Computer Science and Professor of Mathematics at UCLA; Fellow of IEEE and Fellow of IACR with over 270 refereed publications and 14 issued USPTO patents. He served as program chair of 2011 FOCS Program Committee (PC) and served as chair of the IEEE Technical Committee on Mathematical Foundations of Computing from 2015 to 2018. He served on over 40 international conference PC's and is serving as associate editor of JACM, Algorithmica, and Journal of Cryptology. He is recipient of multiple awards and honors including 1993 Henry Taub Prize; the IEEE Computer Society 2017 Technical Achievement Award and the 2018 RSA Conference Excellence in the Field of Mathematics Award.
William Skeith received his Ph.D. in mathematics in 2007 from UCLA, specializing in algebra and cryptography. He is also an Associate Professor at City University of New York. He is a winner of the UC Chancellor Presidential Dissertation Year Fellowship and the recipient of a National Science Foundation VIGRE Fellowship.
