Dr. Paul Bunn has a PhD in mathematics from UCLA (2010), where his research focused on cryptography and in particular performing statistics on private (encrypted) datasets as well as communication across unreliable networks. Dr. Bunn worked at Google from 2010-2014 as a software engineer on the Search Team, where he received four separate peer awards, three patents, and a promotion to Senior Software Engineer. He next worked as an Applications Specialist in the department of Biostatistics at UNC Chapel Hill, where he developed software packages for performing advanced statistics (non-parametric maximum likelihood estimation) on large datasets. Dr. Bunn joined Stealth in 2016 and has been involved in a number of research and development activities, including serving as PI and Co-PI for several projects:
